Origins

People come on vacation here, and I live here.  After seven years, I still feel so lucky to live in a place with such striking scenery, beautiful weather, and so many fun things to do.  What a special gem the central coast of California is!

I am a mom of three busy boys, and have never had a yard, so San Luis Obispo County has been my yard.  And what a big backyard it is!  And I am admittedly an obsessed researcher, so I have found a lot of adventures for my family and friends.  So, I decided to download from my brain to the web for any of you who want to take advantage of this amazing place.  I focus more on Morro Bay, Los Osos, and San Luis Obispo than the other parts of the county because that is where I live, but there are still links to plenty of other things around the county.

Also, I've put a strong emphasis on things you can do with kids.  So, you aren't going to find much nightlife on here, but most things are fun for all ages.
